Writing is my passion, and I’m madly in love with books of all genres. Like many authors, my writing is a mix of personal experience and an active imagination. I’m an extroverted introvert. I have learned to work closely with people and truly enjoy them, but I’m most comfortable at home writing.

Maddie's heart raced. Fear, the only thing keeping her from falling apart, coursed through her veins. She glimpsed the silvery scar carved into the man's cheek, but her focus was drawn to the gun in his hand. The air, heavy and still, clogged her throat, and her heartbeat echoed in her ears. She glanced from Catfish—on his knees, gun to his chest—to the man in black. A harsh line curved from brow to chin down the right side of his face, shining like a grotesque puckered mask in the half-moonlight. She froze. In her mind, her options streamed by like a shopping list with precious few items. If she left Catfish here, he would die. If she stayed, they would both die. Who was this man, and what did he want from them? Yesterday, Catfish surprised her with the best gift ever. How could things have gone so wrong?
